The Kempton-Wace Letters【電子書籍】[ Jack London and Anna Strunsky Walling ]

Anna Strunsky Walling, author, lecturer, and socialist activist, met Jack London in 1899 at an SLP celebration of the Paris Commune. United by similar political views, they spent a great deal of time together discussing social and political issues, and they were part of a wider group of San Francisco intellectuals known as “The Crowd.”
Her first epistolary novel “The Kempton-Wace Letters" written in collaboration with Jack London represents a discussion of the nature of love. Jack, as Herbert Wace, would discuss love from the biological point of view; and Anna, as Dane Kempton, would take the idealistic and emotional viewpoint. The Kempton-Wace Letters were published in 1903, and they constitute one of the most interesting and curious books in the whole literature of love.
